Roman/Hobble
This style fullness is added in the length of the valance. The fabric may or may not wrap around the mounting board on the ends.
Balloons
This style has a pouf effect along the bottom, and fullness is added in both width and length. It is similar to a full working balloon shade however the topper is stationary and is not operable. The fabric will wrap around the mounting board on the ends.
Austrian
Frequently made from a sheer or light weight fabric, and is very soft and formal in appearance. The fabric can wrap around the ends of the mounting board. The minimum mounting board projection on this style is 3½” because the swag or droop that goes around the corner and covers the return needs to be at least that wide to look correct.
Heading Tapes & Shaped Bottoms
Topper is shaped along the lower hem. This variation can be specified on the work order and can be done on many of the basic styles in order to add interesting design effects.
