Lift Controls Options
A continuous cord is attached to a lift system that raises and lowers the shade by means of a continuous loop cord. Shades stay level, adjacent treatments are easily set to matching levels, and heavy shades feel light. There are no piles of cords. To be completely compliant the loop cord must be fastened to the window casing or wall with an approved tensioning device.

We use only Somfy motors in our shades. The shade operation can then be controlled by the use of a wireless wall switch, remote control, App, or home automation system. Motorized lift systems allow very large window openings to be covered with one shade, instead of breaking up the window into smaller sections. They are also practical for use on very high windows that cannot be reached from the floor. Battery, 12 volt or 110 are available. Battery controlled are louder than 12-volt system.
Track Style Lift System
Shade is raised and lowered manually by a cord which is secured inside of small (approximately ½”) tracks which mount to the inside or outside of the window opening. These type of lift works well on slated skylight windows.
NOTE: High, tall, or hard to reach windows may require the addition of a pole in order to operate the shade. Shade tracks are white or brown but can be painted after installation.
